Onesheet Mobile has arrived!

Tens of thousands of entertainment professionals have built beautiful web presences using Onesheet. These gorgeous sites have been visited millions of times. But there’s always been a missing piece: mobile.
While Onesheet looks great on large screens, the mobile experience has been less than ideal. That changes today.
We are rolling out the pilot program for Onesheet Mobile. We’ve redesigned the Onesheet experience when visited from a mobile device to be much smoother and fit for a smaller screen.
Onesheet Mobile automatically generates a beautiful, branded mobile web app. There is no additional work to do, no app to download. Everyone who visits your Onesheet on mobile will see it.
If a fan saves your page to their home screen, it creates a mobile icon with your image, and when they launch the app, their screen is filled with your background image as the app loads. It’s gorgeous.
Of course there are challenges when moving to mobile. Some of the widgets users have integrated won’t work on a mobile device because of their size or they use Flash. Those will be greyed out on the mobile view. We are working with these partners to provide content in a mobile friendly way, and hopefully will be switching these over in the upcoming months.
Also, there are a lot of mobile devices. We want Onesheet Mobile to be rock solid with all of them, but this will take time. However, we are confident that Onesheet Mobile will look better than Onesheet overall, regardless of the device.
Onesheet Mobile is a premium feature offered as part of our premium Pro package. But the Pro price stays the same. Still under $5/month.
However, during our pilot, we have enabled every single Onesheet to be mobile friendly through the month of March! We’re especially excited to do this during SXSW, when many fans will be accessing Onesheets on their phones to find out more about bands they are hearing about.
So go check it out! Visit your Onesheet from a mobile device and send us feedback. Remember, this is just a pilot program. There will be bugs. We have a lot to learn, but can’t wait to keep refining this experience to make it the best it can be!
Beta Test REAL Custom Domains for you Onesheet
We launched custom domains months ago, but we only offer domain redirecting. We are now working on the next version of using your own domain with Onesheet, and need some beta testers. This will require you to change your A-Record to settings that we give you, but will be a MUCH MUCH better solution.
So, if you are interested in beta testing this, please fill out the following form and we will be in touch with instructions.
Introducing the New Onesheet

About 2 months ago, we surveyed our tens of thousands of users, asking things like “What’s your favorite feature?”, “What’s missing?”, “What do you think of the Pro plan?” We got a ton of responses, and have been working for the past month to build solutions for some very common requests.
Today, we’re releasing a new version of Onesheet that addresses all of the top requests.
1. Users wanted more than a single media player on their Onesheet.
We heard this a lot. Although users loved being able to post their music or video right on the Onesheet, many wanted to also post their tweets or tour dates right next to it.
With Onesheet v2, users can add a lot more content right on their Onesheet. Many of the content modules that users added before are available now as Widgets. These can be placed on the Onesheet and arranged with the other widgets.

Some of the supported widgets at launch are: Audio, (powered by Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Reverbnation, Broadjam, Mixcloud), Events (ArtistData, Reverbnation, Songkick, BandsInTown), Mailing List Signup (Fanbridge, Reverbnation, Bandzoogle), Facebook Wall Posts & Comments, Pledge (Kickstarter, Pledge Music), Store (Amazon MP3, CD Baby), Tweets, and Video (Hulu, Youtube, Vimeo, Vevo).
** There is one thing that you might notice that we had to change to support the new format. All widgets are now a fixed size, so if you’ve changed your widget size, it will revert back to what it was before. Sorry about this and we’ll find a solution soon to make them variable again.
2. Users wanted flexibility with what the links in their navigation bar said
Some people call concerts shows, gigs, tour, etc.. We built a solution for this request a few months ago, but that just fueled more requests to change other sections. So we rewrote how names are handled from the ground up and now users can change any link to anything they want.

To start customizing, go to Navigation Bar and click on the section you’d like to rename. Enter your new text into the Link Name box and hit save. It’s that easy.
3. Users wanted a lower priced premium option
When we launched Pro, we set the price at $9.99/month and many Onesheet users have been happy to pay that. As we’ve learned more about our community and their needs, we’ve realized we can offer the same service for a lower price. So we’ve redesigned our Pro tier, cutting the price in 1/2 to $4.99/month!

Users who need more from Onesheet can upgrade and remove all the Onesheet branding, heavily customize their navigation bar, collect email addresses, add a contact form, and more. And it’s only just $4.99/mo.
4. Users wanted to create Onesheets for more than just musicians
When we built Onesheet, it was imagined to be a product just for musicians to use to represent themselves. But soon after launch people started trying to build pages not just for musicians themselves, but also for specific albums, singles, even concert tours. Then we noticed comedians, filmmakers and other entertainment industry professionals trying to create their Onesheet.

Unfortunately, the initial platform wasn’t flexible enough for most to build the page they wanted because everything was very artist driven. Today’s release strips out a lot of that inflexibility and replaces it with a tool that can be used by anyone who wants to represent themselves with media! Welcome to the new identity of the entertainment industry.
5. Users wanted more places to pull content from
We already have a ton of services we connect to, but of course it’s always better if we have more! So, not only are we adding more services, but we’ve completely re-written the way we integrate services to allow us to bring more on faster. Today, we’re happy to announce that we connect with the following services:

Hulu (Video), IMDB (Information), Broadjam (Audio), Vevo (Video), AmazonMP3 (Store), Rdio (Audio), Official.fm (Audio), NoiseTrade (Mailing List). We’ve also upgraded our integration with CD Baby to support their online store widget! And we added two new ReverbNation widgets, the Combo Widget (TuneWidget) and Press Widget!
And finally, our 2012 gift to our community: Custom Domains for All
People love their Onesheets. So much that they want the Onesheet to be their main web presence. Before, custom domain names were part of our Pro plan. From now on, they are available to everyone. Happy 2012!
All in, there are over 150 tweaks, upgrades, optimizations, and changes to the new Onesheet. A lot of subtle things users will see as they click around. We hope you like it.
Some final great news. TechCrunch has announced that Onesheet is a finalist for a Crunchie Award! If you have a moment, please vote for us here.
Thank you for reading this and thank you for your support!

Choose specific sets/albums for your media player!
We think you’re going to like this one…
Onesheet asks you for your Bandcamp, Soundcloud and Mixcloud username, and then grabs your default player to display on your Onesheet. That’s a perfect solution for 90% of users, but some want more control over the exact music that’s displayed.
And today, we’re providing that control.

Now, when you choose what media player you’d like to display, you have an option of adding a URL to a specific set or album, giving you full control of what is displayed on your Onesheet.
This is a free enhancement available to all users. Find it in your Edit Media Player Widget settings. Let us know what you think in the comments!
We now support @Mixcloud!
We have a vibrant DJ community who have been clamoring for us to add Mixcloud support. Today, we’re making that a reality. You can now find Mixcloud as one of our supported services!
The media player Mixcloud has created is really beautiful, and we cant wait to see it appearing on more and more of our Onesheets,” Mulligan says.

Mixcloud is equally as excited. Richard Morgan, Mixcloud Community Manager says “Onesheet’s slick new integration with Mixcloud looks like the perfect solution for DJs, Radio Presenters and Podcasters looking to add their latest Cloudcasts to their Onesheet site”
Enjoy!
